From Tarifa to Portugal !


This summer I met my precious friend Pauline, aka Vinopaulette, Wine maker from south Africa you can follow her new project on: https://www.instagram.com/vinoph_winecollab/

We took a week to explore the south od Portugal. Our holiday got shaked by fires that occured close by Aljezur, but as I always say, everytging happens for a reason and thta gave us the chance to disover different places. 




> day 1 Portimao & Ferragudo

Sardina festival in Portimao, a once per year event that happened to be when we were there, perfect to get in the mood eating Sardina & potatoes. 

We booked a room in Hotel Aldeia Portimao, super cute room, restaurant with Live music and good tapas to share. 

in the morning we went to Ferragudo, and we had a breakfast at Brunch in Rio it’s okay nothing too special but you can enjoy there an Acai 

Praia de Torrado, there is a Fancy restaurant where we didn’t go but it looked really good calles Rei das praias

Lunch in  Armazém Integral super cute place to enjoy a vegetarian lunch, they also have a shop with a nice selection of local & healthy products.






> Day 2 & 4 SAGRES

We stayed in the Light House hostal, super welcoming and clean place. The owners and team are just amazing and it’s a nice place to meet, chill & connect. 

Right next door you have Mandala yoga 🧘‍♀️ to practice yoga on a nice outdoor deck, they have everyday yoga classes in morning and night perfect to match it with your surfing day and all the teachers there are Amazing.

Also got 4 news tattoos there by Diego Tide super good with fine lines and the vibe he creates while doing it is amazing

To eat 

  • laundry lounge: everytime of the day, cool clothing collection 

  • Picnic: breakfast / lunch and nice wine selection 

  • Three little birds: Lunch & dinner, they also have cool live music

  • Arte bianca: for Pizza good wine, and a cool photobooth to keep a memory of your dinner

> Day 5 LAGOS

Black and white coffee What a place to enjoy breakfast, big alert to all the burnch lover, this place is addictive ! 

Next to it there is the cute shop of Oana Lagos, she creates her jewelry there and you can have them personalized just for you ! 

After that you can give a little drive to go to Ceramico paradiso for your ceramic shopping 

Apart from this place we were not a big fan of Lagos, too busy and croweded in August 



> Day 6-7 ALJEZUR

We book our stay at Lemon lodge an off the grid place, we stayed 2 night in the tent. A goregous room, open on nature, where I have been recording some of the yoga videos available on the subscription. This place is made with love and feels like heaven, you shower outside with the sound of the birds and you can enjoy your dinner with the dogs of the place that are super nice & friendly. 

They also offer ice bath experience & guiding meditation. 

If you want to disconnect to reconnect more with yourself that the place to go !
